Most of us 'Mericans don't need a mother-may-I for each firearm.

You have to go through more crap for a fucking .22 rifle then we do for a machinegun. And don't even think about buying a centerfire pistol ... the world might come to an end.

Actually, Mr. FM, that is quite impressive.

Most Americans own at least four or five weapons, maybe more than that if they hunt.
It is certainly nothing to sneeze at. A question about the revolvers: Are they antiques or of modern make, and are they fairly accurate?

Here in the State of Georgia, if you have a CCW permit, and wish to purchase another firearm, you don't have any hassles other than the requisite paperwork.

Ever see the movie 'Red Dawn?' It is about the hypothetical invasion of the USA by communist Cuba. First thing the invading command did was get the gun owner registries.

It is a good movie, but not that great. Worth watching for a few reasons.

"When guns are criminalized, only ciminals will own guns." It IS simlistic. It also happens to be true.

Actually, given the problems you have with acquiring handguns, that's a very respectable arsenal.

More shotguns than I have, for one thing, even though I may shade you a little on the rifles. And of course there are the semi-auto battle rifles (which you can't get either, until after The Glorious Day).

But I know of several American households which are not as well protected as yours. Nothing at all to be ashamed of, there.
