Comments: Ammunition Issues - Part 1

As Charles Darwin and his worshippers constantly remind us, humans are animals. Some humans could be considered vermin.

Haha, is that all you are allowed, over here they havent twigged that .223 and 5.56 are 1 and the same, they give me both as seperate amounts!

Mr. FM,

Thanks very much for the information. The part I find most chilling is the maximum amount you are allow ot POSSES. How can they confirm you shot up one lot of 250, rather than just shelve it somewhere? Can the Government inspect (search) Free Market Manor looking for unexpended fodder? What happend to am man's home as his castle? (Not that the left side of the pond can talk, what with all the "No-Knock" SWAT raids and such)

I couldn't say with any real accuracy how much ammo I have on hand for some rifles. I passed on a very nice Schmidt-Rubin the other day, simply because the idea of having to stock ANOTHER caliber (and an obsolete one, at that) was just too much..

Thanks Again,

Larry in Rochester

Larry, one thing Mr FM didn't mention (apologies Mr FM if you've just not got around to it yet!) is that when we buy any ammunition here it gets written up on the Firearms Certificate. I think the idea is that the dealer should alert the 'proper authorities' if it looks like you're buying too much...

1,500 rounds of .22 LR? Good grief. Wonder what they'd think of my 25,000+ stash... no doubt, an IRA terrorist.

Of course, I could claim exemption because I'm a Muslim, and any prosecution would be "racist". That might work.

I just remembered... I have well over 500 rounds of .223, and I don't even have a rifle in that chambering.

Kim,

Far more likely they would classify you as a Black Panther.. You are after all, and African American! :)
