Comments: Why our children play cricket

Is killing Welshmen with cricket balls legal inside the city walls?

If not, why not?

Well done to the Boy. 3 for 17 in 5? Shane Warne would be delighted with those stats. You omitted to list any maidens, so I assume none.

Outstanding.

As for the unfortunate Welsh umpire, I can only offer condolences to the family. It's a tragedy all the more when you consider how rarely people are killed playing cricket, the greatest of all sports.

The only part of your national game that I understand is the beer tent. Perhaps its most important aspect after all.
/I'll take it as read that Boy did well. Good job.

If he couldn't see the ball being thrown from the boundary, how was he supposed to adjudicate on LBW and no-balls?

Ah, well he died in the saddle.
