Comments: Brain wave?

That's it, that's exactly it, that's the position all Land Rovers assume when they get to Western Canada.

Top heavy bastards, all.

Sorry, Mr. FMFT, but its GM forever. Bankrupt or no, those fools can build a truck.

Fred Z, how can you possibly compare a Land Rover to a GM ? And since when was an aluminium Land Rover top heavy ? The reason Landies have a tendancy to roll in in continental America, is that no one over there knows how to drive properly.

There is no law excluding GM trucks or cars from Europe, but you never see any (or vary rarely). That is because they are crap.

Mant, perhaps I was loose in my wording.

GM cars do not impress me. GM trucks are probably not useful in little wee tame places like the UK or Eurabia.

But when I'm on a tilted road 400 miles north of fuck all, I'll take a North American pickup, please and thanks, because they are quite rugged and reliable. As for 'top heavy' I once watched a number of crap NA pick up trucks safely negotiate a side hill traverse that caused a Land Rover to assume the position.

Well no point arguing over something this silly anyway. The only problem with a landrover is that it is not available with 5.2 litre v8 in it, that has definitely been mastered by Chevy.
