Yep.
Dragunov scopes are zeroed in exactly the same manner ... set the BDC to 100 meters, loosen the screws on top of the turret, sight in at 100 meters, then tighten the screws up.
Which isn't a surprise ... they probably stole the system raw and bleeding from captured nazi rifles.
