Not being blessed with the dense rail infrastructure of the UK, we in the States are relatively unfamiliar with this class of looney. Sounds like they must be a real hoot. Oh well, every village needs its idiot.
Posted by MP at January 18, 2006 5:14 PMA Class 55 is a Deltic, for heaven's sake! Moreover, they never worked the former Great Western system, duh! Oh hang on - have I just made your point for you?.........
Posted by Paul at January 19, 2006 7:28 AMUm, if you have the cameras and computers to record each and every car in/out of Londinistan, how come you can't use that tech for train spotting?
Just an inquring American rube...
Er, I know a guy here in the US who 'works' on restored steam railroads at weekends. I need not tell you he sells insurance as his regular day job. This guy is a great cure for constipation as he can BORE the crap out of anyone in minutes! No matter what the conversation is, he can find a way to introduce the subject of 1930's pasenger cars or something equally rivetting.
So yes, although not quite the same breed, we DO have those people here too!
Nothing for us bus-spotters then?
Posted by TV at October 14, 2009 11:53 AMTV you mean Bus Numpty's not Bus Spotters according to a coach driver friend of mine.
Posted by ajdshootist at October 14, 2009 12:44 PMSo... if they put serial numbers on breasteses, could I take that up as a hobby, without being arrested for Lewd & Lascivious every time I leave the house?

The serial numbers are on the implants. You'll have your work cut out for you.
