Sort of good news

If you recall the case of Munir Hussain

A man jailed for hitting an intruder with a cricket bat after a knife gang held his family hostage was freed today after a public outcry. The 30-month sentence imposed on Munir Hussain, 53, of High Wycombe, was reduced to two years and the term was suspended. His brother, Tokeer Hussain, 35, had his 39-month term cut to two years but will remain in jail.

However, if it were down to 'hanging' Judge Free Market, not only would he have quoshed brothers Hussain convictions & set them free on the spot, he'd have made scumbag Walid Salem pay for the broken cricket bat . As if the British so-called criminal justice system ... its still more concerned about the rights of common criminals than common sense

And thank goodness for the public outcry.

Recall that in this, the Martin and other cases, a jury of our peers first convicted the victims so that a judge could jail them. Better a jury than no jury, but defence lawyers should perhaps learn to express basic principles to those juries.

More public outcry is needed to free his brother.
I am glad to see that the judiciary is starting to see the light.

Maybe they need to see some more...that's a long dark tunnel they are in.
