Of course you can take the car darling
Yesterday morning it was -8 when I got into Larry Land Rover.
That however is nothing in comparison to some of the starting the car issues faced by reader Walt’s chum who lives in Conifer which is just west of Denver, out on Hwy 285
Of course I am probably no alone in thinking 150 grains at give or take 2,500 fps
& you would have a damned fine hearth rug

I bet he has very few ramblers there, just the thing for the right to roam as*holes.

.357 Mag, either through a revolver or else a lever-action rifle. Just the thing to keep the chill off the floor in freezing weather.

I'm anything but a tree-huggin' anti-hunter, having potted my fair share of small game and repeatedly attempted to bag (unsuccessfully, alas) myself the wily Whitetail Deer. However, I just can't get on board with arbitrarily blasting Mr. Mountain Lion. They're much too spectacular a creature for casual killing, and just the thing to remind ol' H. sapiens that humility is a virtue.
If, on the other hand, wittle Kitty-snookums shows any indication that he's decided to give Long Pork a try, then by all means whack 'im.

As another Coloradan, I am with Scott. The mountain lions keep us humble. There is nothing like hearing one when you are walking in the night to remind you that you are not *always* at the top of the food chain.
That said, they can be hunted legally and the season goes through March 31st. But I personally do not hunt them.
