What with today being the first day of December, I at last have a very lame excuse to start posting Christmas themed stuff that has been accumulating in my Festive Folder over the last eleven months...

One Christmas season, the elves were on strike, the reindeer were sick, the sleigh had a broken runner, and Santa had had a fight with Mrs Claus, when an angel showed up at the door.
"Look, Santa" cried the angel. "We in heaven have sent you this beautiful tree for your house. Where would you like me to put it?"
And that, children, is why we stick an angel on top of the Christmas tree.
