National Ammo Day

I am sure that none of you need reminding but today is National Ammo Day. As I knew that I wouldn't be able to get to a gunshop today, over the weekend I picked up some .222.

What have you bought?

My young nephews in Utah have decided to help out their uncle by allowing him to buy them some new hardware (freely at my disposal) so a further donation on the 19th is in order.

One case (5,000 rounds) of CCI Blazers in .22 LR,
two boxes (100 rounds) of Winchester .44 Special "Cowboy Action Loads,"
and for my loving and understanding wife, one box (25 rounds) of Hornady Critical Defense 9mm.
Safe shooting from Wyoming.

A few clips worth of 5.56 and 7.62 fired through semi auto AR15 and FAL respectivly and a fair number of mags full of 9mm through vaious handguns on Monday in the Neatherlands is the closest I could manage. However buying ammo to put through UK banned guns is a bonus!

Need some more of that horribly spendy Norma 7.62x54r for my Finn M39 ( the russian M38 gets to eat the Hungarian corrosive crap ).
I think I'll go get some.

This past weekend I was able to obtain one case (800 rounds) of 7.62x54 Rimmed, light ball. Works very well through the Mod. 38 Nagant.

Hi Guys
60 rounds of .243 win WinchesterX 100grain couldn't find any of my usual sako gameheads.
When I in charge after the revolution you will be limited to 3000 rounds or less. Of course there will be no Vat on essentials of this type.

Just one brick. Eley Tenex -- in the paper box.
From the basement of an old Camp Perry line officer. Have you any idea how rare paper-box Eley is over here? I'll be setting it aside for special occasions.

A little of this and that. We have five stores in town that sell guns and ammo, but only one is consistently out of stock of the more common calibers and that is Wal-Mart. I bought their last box of .20 gauge rounds a few days ago.
All their rifle and handgun ammo is behind the counter. Those shelves are empty. but a couple of the shotgun rounds you can get off the shelf.
