Scared me there for a minute. I thought I'd read that you would be taking ON ale at the pub. (Visons of Mr. Free Market sinking into a large barrel of ale.)
Gawd, how would I know? Most of our trips to pubs have resulted in us crawling out at odd hours, well the worse for wear. There's no way I could remember the outside of ANY of the pubs I've been to with The Englishman except the Seven Stars, which he tells me has since gone out of business anyway.
