Tuesday morning's Thought for the Day

Never forget, even for an instant, that the one and only reason anybody has for taking your gun away is to make you weaker than he is, so he can do something to you that you wouldn't let him do if you were equipped to prevent it. This goes for burglars, muggers, and rapists, and even more so for policemen, bureaucrats, and politicians.

Stumbled upon your little corner of the internet today. Good to see that there are still some people on the far side of the world from me (I'm in California) that haven't been neutered. It's amazing, but even California (a bastion of left of Marx thought) has better firearms laws than you guys have to put up with.

Zelman's line reminds me of Howdershelt's "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo. Please use in that order."

Keep fighting the good fight.

Bravo! Lovely photos, now I know what mine should look like when cleaned and assembled! Have located a basic user manual, working on finding the disassembly instructions that have photos as well as the verbal description. Now on the shopping list a clean M1 Garand!
