Who are those bearded men?

Look like a Canadian badge on the right one's shoulder?

Who threw that stone? Come on.

Women:(pointing to the culprit, keeping their voices as low in pitch as they can)

She did.

*He did.*

He.

Him.

Culprit:(very deep voice) Sorry, I thought we'd started..........

Is there a high percentage of Ginger Venezuelan troopies, or did they all cammo their scapls as well?

The bearded men are combat engineers, I have forgotten the unit. They are the only unit in the Canadian Army allowed to grow beards, legend has it this permission came from Queen Victoria herself. Judging by their kit this pic was taken in Bosnia.

As for the Venezuelans, would you want that Commie Hugo Chavez to have real soldiers?

Nope, the "lumberjack commandos" are not combat engineers, but Pioneers from I believe 2nd Bn The Royal Canadian Regiment in Bosnia in the mid 90's...they were at that time the only soldiers allowed beards.

A beard, along with an axe and leather apron are the traditional distinctions of a pioneer.

An axe was not a tifling weapon, The giant Lt Legros - one of the biggest men in the French Army - managed to get the gate briefly open and then charged through brandishing his axe at Hougomont during Waterloo

"Hougoumont nearly fell when a determined attack by Sous-Lieutenant Legros (nicknamed 'L'enfonceur' or 'The Smasher'), wielding a huge axe, managed to break through the North gate. Macdonell and other Guards managed to shut the gate, trapping 30 Frenchmen (including 'L'enfonceur') inside. They were duly dispatched, although a young drummer boy was spared."
