How to spend my £604 tax rebate
The only real consideration is that it that I want to spend it on something that will really upset GFW Westminster types/guardianistas/urban living liberals etc...
Current options under detailed consideration include:
1. One of these rather spiffy Savage .17HMRs
which are now availble in the UK as left hookers
2. A second hand 6.5 x 55 barrel for my Blaser
3. A new sound moderator for the Blaser
4. A shotgun certificate for Boy who has now turned 12
& a little 28-guage for him
On sober reflection Option 4 will probably upset people the most if you recall this dear readers

I'd go for Item #3 or #4.
This post reminded me of something important. I need to find a nice after market sight for my 8yr old's Criket Rifle.

As you have a 6.5x55 already why not get a 7x57 another very underrated caliber and one i think KdT would approve of.

At the moment I dont have a 6.5mm & I'd like an intermediate calibre to go with my .243 & .308
At the moment I have empty slots for a 223 & a 17HMR. However my ticket is currently up for renewal so I've applied for a 6.5 as well

Well I'd go for #4 and add in a large purchase of shot gun ammo.
It is weird but in the states sometimes, the 20 and 28 gage stuff is more expensive than the 12 gage. Supply and demand I guess.

I was unware that the boy was without the basics for life. Mr Freemarket u need to correct this at once.
I also assume we have a nice bolt action .22lr to teach the basics of good rifle work?
