So let us be honest. When we saw the TV footage of Muslim demonstrators in Luton greeting the returning soldiers as butchers and rapists and cowards, didn't we feel a sudden wash of anger? Didn't we, inside ourselves, hear a voice we recognised as our own cry: “You bastards!”
The people of the town, out on the streets to welcome home the 2nd Battalion Royal Anglian Regiment, clearly did. Their visceral reaction was to turn on the anti-war protesters. There was, for a few minutes, the remarkable sight of the spirit of peaceful, respectable middle-Britain, in its M&S anorak and its sensible shoes, provoked into physical violence.
The scene was brief, but its resonance huge. You can bet that any clever politician who watched will know they witnessed this unassuming, easygoing society of ours reaching the limits of its tolerance. This was the tipping point; the no-go area; the discourtesy too far. You may hate our policies, and disagree with our wars, the people cried, but do not insult our young men and women in uniform.

I served with the Poachers in Vitez Bosnia in '94, good bunch of lads, glad to see them home safe.

Funny how some people will not look at what is coming until it hits their nuts! several years ago I became aware of this, mostly through Kim duToit, I checked his information about islam (google and people I knew) and I have rarely found dis-information on his site and many he pointed me to (including here) I cannot see how there can be moderate muslims by civilised standards, it would be against the Koran, the new President of the USA is also offensive to this book, a book it has to be said that has doubtful heritage, especially as it is written in a form of language that positivly dates it to 200 years after the prophet concerned was bumped off. While it is mooted as the fastest growing cult in the world, muslims are wholly outnumbered by us humans and when we consider the other religions all insist in decent standards of individual behavior unlike islam that welcomes murderers, rapists, peodphiles etc and even encourages such abhorrent behavior, it is not hard to see the short term appeal of this, long term we know where to find the dregs of humanity (how big can you make the garbage pits FM?).

Can anyone make a few boxes of Nato Standard 5.56 and something to fire them with go missing? It's time to shut these bastards up. I'm not anti immigration, my friends and family know quite a few central/eastern european guys who have come over here, worked their arses off and learned English. however, I have heard not one such story from anyone I know about any People from the middle east. From this I can gather we should let the frogs keep them.
This is it, the last straw, it's time to get out country back! The next time some troops come home the people greeting them with accuasations of war crimes should be met with arrest and trial for slander at worst, and machinegun fire at best.

I came across this site by accident....i think i found a new home. I thought i was the only one that cared anymore...my lad is in the army....if he gets greeted with this crap when he returns in lancashire i dont think police lines will help.
