& now to our Thursday morning contestant

This morning’s entry in our African Infantryman of the Year competition is in the Junior Section. Young Bonokai here proves that just because you have bunked off from school, it doesn’t mean that you can’t spare the time to learn to tie your tie properly.

And excellent trigger control, too!

I suspect young Junier there has his sighs set on the position as secretary general of the UN. To replace the chap there now. After all, it does seem to be a position filled by what Paul Holmes notoriously called a "Cheekie Darkie" live on NZ television.

Maybe he should be giving Thatcher jr lessons on enunciation?

I shouldn't make too much mock. He'd kick your ass. Or shoot it. he's hungry. You (and me) we're just fat and smart-arsed. Well, me, anyway.

What a well turned out young gentleman.
Weapon could do with a bit of a clean though.

I'll bet he bought that tie pre-knotted.

That said, Bonokai seems to be much more weapon proficient and tactically gifted than any of the more senior contestants. He actually looks before shooting, he keeps his finger of the trigger, his overly worn cloths don't glow like they were made in Chernobyl and are supplemented by his tie with a fairly decent camouflage print. On top of that he seems to know that if you're a small African kid rather than a big patriotic Russian veteran, you'd beetr put your weapon, even if its an AK, on semi automatic.

Trust me, this kid will be a warlord some day and have his own tribe!

That tie goes well with that Romie AK.

And unlike his brethren, he seems to have his shit together.

He'll go far.

You have to CLEAN your AKs?

Must be some new thing.
