"Hideously white"
Some of Britain’s most popular television programmes including the Vicar of Dibley and Who Wants to be a Millionaire have been criticised for being “too white” in a report led by Trevor Phillips, the equality chief.
Well of course they are Trev & there's a klansman around every corner as well !
Mr Phillips, the chairman of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, said that all the evidence showed that television was still “hideously white where it matters”, a reference to those in senior roles.
An interesting sentence construction there ... "hideously white" ... says it all really. Of course shows like The Vicar of Dibley have a hideous white cast, because rural Britain is predominantly hideously white.
To keep the likes of Trev happy, maybe programmes like The X Factor could be replaced by a new show - The Malcolm X Factor. Quite why this is necessary, I don't know because there are already shows that seem to have casts drawn exclusively from modern Britain's racially diverse society ... take Crimewatch for example

Trev is feathering his own nest, without this constant trickle of drivel we would have shut his shop down years ago as a cost cutting exercise or would that be racist, mind you I'm dissapointed that my taxes fund his lifestyle rather than point this out if he could stop non white kids killing each other then more might make it into mainstream society. Who thinks the Vicar of Dibley is Mainstream? Right leave the classroom now! Doesnt he understand that its lefty liberal tosh views of how rural Britain should be rather than really is?

Trevor Phillips has been spewing such crap ever since he took that role. What these people seem to forget is that Britain is a majority White country (for now at least). I'm glad my skin colour offends people. But then again I am the lowest of the low. I am a White tax paying male in a skilled job living in Britain.

WTF...Why is the "Equality and Human Rights Commission" chaired by a white male. In a perfect world, the skipper of that organization would be a hearing and sight impaired (err... challenged) Black lesbian with a Hispanic surname. Trevor's job would be to fetch her her tea, and it had better arrive piping hot!
