from Saturdays South China Morning Post

In Alex Lo’s column, The Lo Down was a story about an on-line Hong Kong prostitutes’ directory. The founder has just been jailed for 18 months & his staff (the sites designer, a programmer, photographers & a technician were all fined & received community service orders). The law out here allows prostitutes to ply their trade but not advertise it.

As Lo goes on to point out

The level of information offered on these prostitutes’ websites is far more transparent than that of, say, property developers & their agents, who often misleadingly advertise about the flats they sell. Come to think of it, the hookers & their advertisers are far more honest & honourable.

That tells you something about Hong Kong real estate markets ... or real estate markets in general come to that!

This is just too good to not share. May I tell a couple of blogging friends about this? Definitely snort worthy...as well as provocatively provoking thought.
