Get on the Plane, Get off the Plane – Part 2

Boston%20InterContinental%20Hotel%20New%20England.jpg

This is the view from my hotel in Boston. Apparently it is just

steps away from exciting Boston attractions, including Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market, Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, North End, Chinatown, Beacon Hill and a plethora of historical attractions such as the Boston Tea Party Museum and Freedom Trail

Right now, all I want is a whiskey & my pit ... & I'll take them in any order

Well, I've never actually been to Boston, other than the outskirts and the airport, but I do recommend the lobster...

Lucky you.. I love Boston! It's my second favorite US city (SFO being #1). I hope you enjoy.

Boston is like Belfast, without the charm. Get out of there as soon as you can.

Whats the hunting like there? any anti-royalists and revolutionaries still around? :P

I've just finished clearing up the kitchen bench after jointing a hare form tonights trip out with the shotgun.

"any anti-royalists and revolutionaries still around? "

If there are, they'd be easy meat. Unlike 1775, few if any Bostonites are armed these days, because they forgot all about the Second Amendment, which they helped put into the Constitution.

Ironic, isn't it? Nowadays, Gage could march wherever the hell he wanted to, without interference.

And sometimes, I wish he would.

I second Kim's comments, but having lived in Boston for 12 years I still have some decent memories. Next to the large milk bottle in the center of your photo is the Children's Museum. I personally favor the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and the Science Museum.

Watch out for Teddy Kennedy if they let him get behind the wheel!
/Other members of the Kennedy clan are dangerous as well...

If I'd known you were going over I'd have let you pick up my Brownells order. Two weeks and it's still not here!

Not all of us are unarmed - you just have to get outside the city.

If drinking is your objective, you have landed in the right city.

If you have a car and can drive on the right side of the road, I suggest Longfellow's Wayside Inn in Sudbury. There is still a French Musket over the fireplace in the tavern.
