A round trip of 1,541 miles ...
at an average of 60.2 mph
consuming diesel at a rate of a gallon every 25.8 miles
& best of all, apparently Disco Dave produced 666.46 kg of Carbon Dioxide: how many drowning baby polar bears is that?
Comments
MMM that is amazing, by using 220 kilos of diesel we get 666 ks of CO2, Einstein would like to see that experiment. you must have used a EU or UN footprint calculator!!

I won't admit to be up on the intricacies of the metric system (although I'm fairly good at distance), but how many kilograms does a liter of diesel weigh?
Something scratching deep in the recesses of my brain says that 1 liter of water = 1kg, but it seems that diesel would be lighter - it floats, does it not?

Only 60mph average? Clearly, Mrs. FM wasn't driving.
