Breakfast in Tiffany’s Chengdu
I know that it wasn’t up to the Breakfast Bloggers usual standards & a million miles away from the chocolate chip muffin I had had in the Mandarin Hotel the day before but to my mind, a breakfast such as this

comprising caffeine, nicotine & alcohol (that isn’t water in the glass on the left), has all the essential food groups. The night before however was even better but apologies for the picture quality
served on a bed of red & green chillies, strips of pan fried swan. I love Sichuan cookery.

The Chesapeake Bay country where I live has beaucoup swans (invasive species) but they are not on the menu. Does it taste "like chicken"?

That just seems so right, I bet the Libtards cringe at the sight of Swan on the Menu. That would have been nice to see on the Menu of my now defunct favorite Pizza Joint: Big Game Pizza. I think you would have approved.

Not too surprisingly, it tastes rather like goose.

I'll shoot a goose and fire up the wok.

Was in Chengdu for a month last year for work, loved the place and the people.
Did you go to see the Pandas?
I believe panda burgers are quite nice too :)

The Blackberry's a little off, though.

Ah, I feel a limerick coming on ....
There was a young man from St Johns,
Who tried to bugger the swans
"Oh no", cried the porter
"You can bugger my daughter,
But the swans is reserved for the Dons"
*Takes coat, leaves*
