Firstly, I never knew that I had so many South African readers & who would have thought that for some reason that over the last 24 hours, that they would have taken the time & trouble to drop your humble corrspondent emails - so thank you all, you know who you are.
As for the game in question ... if I were to say that England's performance was dismal it would probably be a massive understatement. Perhaps the sadest part wasn't the comprehensive hammering, it was watching a blooded Jason Billy Whizz Robinson, having played his heart out, limping off the pitch with a shot hamstring that could signal the end of his career.

Oh, and I think England started off at a disadvantage because of those nancy-boy uniforms. I far preferred the old ones, but then, for me that's true about everything, really, isn't it?
