Give up & move on ? You the reader decide
Just following up from this mornings lament at the decline of Great Britain, I feel that a little bit of polling is in order just to test a little theory that will no doubt be debated with The Englishman in the pub tomorrow evening. So here we go ….
Criteria:
1. I am afraid that the poll is limited to UK residents or former UK residents as I am trying to get a handle on ‘domestic’ opinion. Of course I completely accept that any readers out there are likely to be a self-selecting bunch (i.e. in favour of personal freedoms, booze, firearms, more booze & as little government as possible) & like your humble correspondent watch the evening news & are horrified by what they see. However, since when did balance come into anything when it comes to sampling public opinion
2. Errrrrrrrr … that’s about it really

Mr.Free Market and others of like mind..if you are ever in the Liverpool area(doubtful I know) you could always call into my pub..its ye hole in ye wall...Liverpools oldest..I,m not mad on the name but after 300 years it would be churlish to change it!...I bought it so some twat couldnt turn it into a haven for liverpools glittering youth.Its one of Liverpools few hidden gems..it will be one of the things I miss when I finaly leave ...although Napa has its consolations...my sister is responsible for some fine wine..scousers are not completely useless!

Damn it fellas.
I'd offer you the advantages of farming out here in the Great Southwest, part of the Northern Sonoran Desert, but, you probably enjoy the English countryside more... though we do grow some pretty mean cotton, alfalfa and prickly pear out here! Damn shame for folks to be talking about bailing out of home, wherever it may be, due to government bureaucrats being allowed to trample good folks with unlimited, stupid, and self-destructive crap. You're welcome anytime to groove on over here, though I pray you find the means to not *have* to, but because you *want* to.
