Why I am breaking open the FM armoury this morning
Kevin has done yet another brutal dissection of the UKs crazy ineffectual firearms legislation in this latest piece: Cognitive Dissonance. Having read it late last night, your humble correspondent was so consumed with rage at the very thought of GFW nangers dictating what I can & cannot own that I decided to break out me’gats in the morning & get some rounds down – hence the lack of posting. See you all later when equilibrium has been restored

Thanks for the link! I'm just sorry you have to live under those rules and with those poor, misguided people who outnumber you about 2000:1.

Were you pleased to see the Tories accepting £58,000 in political donations from the geezer that owns H&K? Would this be a precursor to liberalisation of the guns laws should Tories ever regain power do you think?

PS A rather jaundiced lefty take on this donation is available here. I must confess I am a fully trained up small bore with some full bore and sports pistol experience to back that up in a fire fight.

Sometimes I think of making my primary residence some place other than the USA, primarily for hunting reasons and to do more extended exploring of other cultures. Everybody else's gun laws seem to keep me firmly rooted in the USA. It doesn't seem to get better either. Shame about that. Is there any chance this trend will ever reverse? I can't see it.
