Justice? Eh?
A 17-year-old girl and two men have been jailed for "bullying to death" a vulnerable man in Cornwall. Steven Hoskin, 38, of St Austell, was tortured and then taken to a viaduct and forced to hang from railings. Sarah Bullock, who stamped on his hands causing him to fall 100ft to his death, was detained for 10 years for murder. Her boyfriend and gang leader Darren Stewart, 30, was jailed for at least 25 years for murder. Martin Pollard, 21, was given eight years for manslaughter.
So what exactly is bullying to death meant to mean when its at home? All of this pondlife will be out before half of their respective sentences are up & when you look at them ...

...tell me that there isn't an overwhelming case for them enjoying a 'long drop' somewhat similar to the one that their poor victim suffered?
If you want to reduce the high level of crime in this country, then introduce proper sentencing - something along the lines of death / prison for natural life / or internal exile to somewhere completely unspeakable .... Liverpool for instance.

The guy in the middle would make a great Bill Sykes in the Dartmoor production of "Oliver Twist."

I don't understand the bewigged Judiciary's need for a "crime" of "bullying to death" unless it's somehow to enable them to produce shorter sentencing results and speed up the revolving jail-door. Any "...to death" crime sentence should end with the long rope-drop.

Five or ten for murder. I thought what I heard about Canada was bad.
Completely off topic, but I'm hoping someone across the pond could provide a little more information: http://scotlandonsunday.scotsman.com/scotland.cfm?id=1181122007
