4 July
To all you readers on the left hand side of the pond, a Happy Independence Day. In the words of Thomas Jefferson
I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.

Cheers Mr.FM. We'll do our best to keep tradition
alive,might require another revolt.
And that's just fine by me.
And thank you for the lovely display of Old Glory.

We're not the Left side of the Pond -- you are.
Politically speaking, of course.

Now that's a flag pole. I'd be proud to have that under my flag in the front yard, but, I think that the local subdivion covenants would be against it.
