Nutritious breakfasts

Over the weekend, I am hoping to get round to a little blogroll maintenance: some of the links are MIA, others (as we all do from time to time) have gone off the boil. However among many that I will be adding is Breakfast Blogger, if for no other reason that this sort of gratuitous imagery …

I'm sorry but any breakfast that doesnt include sausages and bacon just isnt breakfast. BB you must get out more, My father in law was recently widowed when his Montreal Jwish wife passed on yet he always looked forward to our breakfasts, definetly non Kosher!

Bacon, eggs and fruit on the same plate? Noooooo!

The only fruit that should be on the same breakfast plate as bacon and eggs is tomato. And that should be fried, or in ketchup.

Mr. Free Market! A man like yourself without a capitalist Zippo lighter!!? Tsk.

I do have several Zippo's, none of which are currently 'commissioned'. These days I go for the cheap plastic jobs ... you can throw them away ... that upsets the greenies!

I hadn't thought of that. Off to the garage to pick up a bunch. Should I also wrap fishing line and some wire around them before they are thrown out?

better still, ensure the ones that you buy are stamped

"Made in Burma by child slave labour"

Cheers from Canada! I've added you to my blogroll.. but could you do me a favour though and link to my front page and not my archive?

Thanks!

-Breakfast IS the BEST meal of the day!

For improved effect, tie the lighter with fishing line to a mylar helium filled balloon. Use hydrogen in place of helium if at all possible. Wait for the wind to shift so it will carry your balloon toward power lines or turle infested seas, then release.

turtle-infested

I always preferred a mixed grill for brekkie, myself. Nothing like a pork chop, steak, bacon, kidneys, liver, eggs and chips to get your day off to a good start.

Actually, the above generally caused me to want to put my head down and kip for an hour or so... which is STILL the best way to start a day at the office.
