Gratuitous Gun Post Friday – Part 3

From reader Walt who clearly has a little bit of a thing for bulldog kit...

My friends and I have a good selection of noisy British toys. In addition to the pedestrian SMLEs of various Marks and my Vickers, we can send 303 down range through a Bren gun and a Lewis. Most of the 455 Webleys and 38 Enfield revolvers ended up over here and I managed to pick up one of each. A few years ago Canadian Inglis made Browning Hi-Powers started showing up on the market. With the shoulder stock/holster fitted you can hit a manhole cover sized gong at 400 yards about 60% of the time.

Wait wait wait .... did you say Vickers?? As in the legendary Vickers Medium Machine Gun?? As in the whole nine yards?? Oh yesssssssss ....

& the money line ...
Attached is a picture of a friend's niece shooting one of my favorite British guns, my Vickers gun. Nothing like the sight of a young girl having fun shooting a water cooled machinegun to bring a smile to your face.

If I ever needed another reason to continue my glacial relocation to america this post just gave it.

Nothing much better for a kid than spending time behind the spade-handles of a true machine-gun!
