& the starting prices are ...

There is quite a lot, hangover notwithstanding, that this morning I would like to say about the current cockweasel antics of our so called government but to be honest (& its not for the feint hearted) The Devils Kitchen just about sums it up …

My dear chap, it has not been your finest hour but it has, frankly, been the funniest! I mean, seriously, how many more people are going to resign, eh? I was waiting for the entire Cabinet to go. I bet you're feeling a bit betrayed, aren't you? People don't seem to realise what a wonderful person you are.

F**king diddums. Even the talentless rats that inhabit the lower echelons of your, for want of a better word, government have realised that you are not only a electoral liability, but that you are probably actively insane.

& rather than read the reams of commentary that lefty meejar darhings are gushing forth, I feel strongly that a much more objective view is needed. So rather than produce the usual torent of invective that Mr Blah seems so easily to insipre from so many people, lets see how the market is currently pricing him.

At noon on Thursday, Ladbroke’s were quoting 5/2 that he would replaced in 2006. By midnight that had gone to 4/1. Hmmmmm shame!

However the odds on the next Labour leader make interesting reading

Gordon Brown 2/7 from 1 /4
Alan Johnson 5/1
John Reid 8/1
David Miliband 20/1
John Prescott 25/1

So there you just about have it. Gordi has it in the bag according to the bookies – bye bye Blah … hello Tax n Waste Brown. Fiscal mismanagement predicted to scale new heights.

"Fiscal mismanagement predicted to scale new heights." Any bookies silly enough to offer odds on this one......?
