Just what we need, transgender police
Avon & Somerset Police have completely abandoned on all attempts to recruit effective ‘thief takers’ & in deference to the laws of so-called inclusiveness, positively discriminate in favour of women & ethnic minorities, rejecting white male candidates. The force comprises some 3,314 officers of whom 51 are from ethnic minorities is of course a pretty accurate reflection of the area it covers – Bristol, Bath, Somerset & South Gloucester. The fact that outside Bristol & Bath the population is 100% white means that those rough old farmers on the Mendip Hills need multicultural policing doesn’t it dear readers? Bear in mind here that in some of the more tucked away Somerset villages, The Wicker Man isnt a film, its an annual festival.
Still, according to Avon & Somerset police’s recruitment policy,
“We will continue to provide positive action for people from underrepresented groups including people from ethnic minority backgrounds, females … people who are transgender, gay, lesbian & bisexual & people with a disability”.
If this wasn’t all so sad it would be incontinently funny. No doubt this obsession with skin colour & sexual ‘orientation’ over policing skills is probably what has caused recent problems for another West Country police force.
Devon police were called out to stop a tractor that had been stolen by some eighteen year old scrote & being driven at high speed for a tractor - twelve miles an hour. Ten miles later, six police cars & a police heli-cop-ter later they managed to stop this piece of machinery. Effective policing?
& they wonder why some of Her Majesty’s most law abiding subjects are starting to arm themselves. A lot of us have no faith in our ethnically diverse disabled person empowering transsexual embracing police to deter criminals. Our bourgeoning criminal fraternity know now increasingly absurd the police are becoming. You don’t have to be visually impaired to see that senior officers are limping with their brains … again. Numpties!

Until police chiefs are elected by the local population this utterly obscene perversion of reason and logic will get worse.

The world view of the police (or perhaps to be fair senior officers), our politicians, and our judiciary has been geeting further and further apart from the rest of us for decades. What can we do? It strikes me that nothing but root and branch reform is required. Some chance.

Notice that they lump gay, lesbian and transgendered with people who are disabled.
