If it weren’t so sad & the people weren’t so incredibly desperate your humble correspondent would greet the news that in Rhodesia, armed gangs are stealing crops that are still in the ground, with uncontrolled myth.
HARARE (Reuters) - The thieves, moving in bands of between 60 and 80 people, have conducted night raids of the farms over the last three months, dividing themselves into groups to attack security guards and their dogs and to dig up the potatoes, Zimbabwe's state-controlled Herald newspaper reported on Monday. Herald said police have deployed plainclothes officers into the farms, which in one raid lost 1,000 bags of potatoes and have suffered losses estimated at Z$1 billion.
(In real & not Toy Town money, that’s about £125).
Of course the fact the Rhodesia’s agricultural output had fallen 60% in the last 5 years & 4 million Zimbabweans have been surviving on food aid for the last three years, the is something that President ‘a mad as a rabid turbot’ Mugabe must be really really proud.
Sorry I forgot for a moment … of course its old whities fault & don’t tell me, an international cabal of international Jewish bankers that are seeking to re-enslave a proud & independent African nation – Harpic!

As the ships of a couple of sensible nations are still moored at the NATO naval base at Naples – maybe we could have a lamentable training accident with a surface to air missile & Bobbie boy’s plane while he is on his way home. Sadly the Bide-a-wee funny farm wont have any room for him as we have reserved all available spaces for our own politicians, come The Reckoning*.

Why doesn't someone shoot the ph****** s** of a r**** w**** and then the country will be ripe for re-colonisation. And as for the farce surrounding "targeted sanctions".............It does suit the West to have a weak and divided Africa though, so there may be method in (some of) the madness.
