The great cartridge belt debate - part 2

Also, the leather and shells get wet if kept outside the coat. Not a serious problem, but not what one would call an optimal situation.
As you note, the problem is a considerable one, for us fatties (okay, for me specifically): if I keep the belt outside, I look like an armed barrage balloon, and if I keep it inside, I can't button the old Barbour, which means that the cold wet wind gets inside and chills the tumblode.

Cartridge belts of ALL sizes made to measure available from Wrights of Huntly, High St., Inverurie. 01466 792782.
Once made one following an order from a "prominent" local fieldsports figure; he measured 54" around in July. He came to pick it up just before christmas, by which time he'd outgrown it by a further 6"! Still, a new 60+" one was made, dispatched, and the original 54" belt was soon also sold.
Who ate all the Pies?
