Crime figures
Let me see now, the UK population is about 60,000,000 give or take half a million aslyum seekers & illegal immigrants. Now according to the latest crime statistics
Violent offences in England and Wales reached record levels in 2004-5 with police recording one million crimes - up 7% from the previous year. Police figures show 1,035,046 violent incidents against the person, excluding sexual offences and robberies.
So, in the last 12 months 1 in 60 people have been a victim of violent crime – Blair’s Britain eh?

No, no, no. Don't you read Australian math professor/blogger Tim Lambert? The Crime Victimization Survey proves that violent crimen in Blighty is going DOWN! That "reported crime" stuff is just being touted by the media to frighten the populace! Fear of violent crime is the problem, not crime itself.
And if you believe that, I've got title to this bridge in Brooklyn...
