Sandal wearing eco friendly low emission liberals – you just have to love ‘em. Turn your back on them for more than a second & before you can say global warming scaremongering , they will have done something really really stupid. Not just averagely stupid like setting fire to your underwear, forgetting that you are still wearing said garment; no – truly galacticly stupid.
I have a pet theory that the molecular structure of tofu neutralises that part of the brain that controls common sense & consequently whenever something monumentally idiotic happens, as oft as not, somewhere, somehow, a well meaning liberal, ripped to the tits on ‘Freetrade’ coffee, will be involved. Now as I type this, I freely confess to giggling like the village retard upon reading the true extent of the stupidity at Vancouver’s Grouse Mountain Refuge for Endangered Wildlife.
It an attempt to “provide wildlife with the most natural setting possible”, these well meaning individuals build a five acre enclosure & put four grey wolves in it. I am sure that both tourists & naturalists enjoyed watching these animals in their newly recreated environment.
OK so far?
Well now enter the hand of the ever well meaning owners of the refuge who thought that they would make it even more realistic & natural by … putting a four year old grizzly bear (named 'Grinder'!) in the same enclosure.
Now, I free admit that my knowledge of wildlife is reasonably limited to those species that I can shoot, those species that I can eat & those species that I can eat as well as shoot: but even I, your intemperate narrator, can tell you that putting bears & wolves in an enclosed space together is a fundamentally very very bad idea.
Thus, with the same sickening inevitability of tax rises following a Labour government, we can all guess, with some degree of accuracy what happened when the male Alpha wolf got into a little altercation with Mr Bear, over the small matter of a cow bone … with a single swipe of Bear paw, cue one headless wolf.
I love this stuff, you really cant make it up, but no doubt, the three surviving wolves that have now been moved to a different pen are being ‘counselled’ for post traumatic stress disorder. May be just maybe the wardens at the Grouse Mountain Refuge for Endangered Wildlife have now learned that real animals are a little bit different from the ones that are in childrens books.

Reading the East Oregonian article the problem becomes clear. The original idea comes from German and Swedish zoos where european bears have been kept with wolves for years. These would be politically correct bears who had been brought up on meuseli and probably voted for the Green Party.
The New World animal botherers made the mistake of thinking that North American grizzly bears where similarly "liberal" when any knowledgable person knows that they are infact gun wielding conservatives of the worst sort.
Defend the right to keep and arm bears I say.

I would have paid good money to see a fight like that! Do you think they would entertain a request for matching a cougar against a wolf?

The wolf, once rejected by the Movie Industry, clearly had emotional issues about being exploited, and subsequently proved correct: "Macquisten had placed the wolves and bears in the same enclosure 10 days ago, hoping they would provide stimulation for each other."
Movie wolves to the end, always looking for a script to read or a Cause Celeb to support, they provided stimulation for the spectators!!

How predictable, I suppose wolf meat is edible but probably rahter tough and lacking flavor. Bear on the othere hand is very tender and taty, well Black bear any way, I don't know about grizzly meat.

Look back 60 years and the same scenrio but on a huge scale, Liberals-Hitler-Europe as they say some assembly required (actually did the bear not remove the wolfs head then as well?). Why can liberals NEVER learn?????????????
