When the Musos are trying to cut up rough, because some stupid magazine had printed a story about soldiers doing a Fred Astire on the Koran, which it subsequently retracted, I am filled with a wave of contempt. Contempt for Newsweek, contempt for the Muslim Council for Britain & the Muslim Parlimentary Association that organised the demonstrations.

When protestors start burning flags & chanting ever erudite slogans such as “Bomb, bomb New York” & “George Bush, you will pay, with your blood, with your head”, I am just filled with contempt for people that think they can ride roughshod over the liberal (note: small ‘l’) traditions of this country … such as free speech, however badly that right is used.

That same right didnt of course enables the jihadi copywriters to work overtime & exercise their freedom of speech, coming up with placades such as “Desecrate today & see another 9/11 tomorrow”. I just wonder how offensive some people might find that? Maybe they might like to have me'learned friends explain just how offensive that is in the High Court?

Martin Mubanga, one of the Tipton Tiliban who got himself locked up in Guantanamo Bay when all he was doing in Afganistan, was collecting butterflies or something, was carping on that he had seen the Koran desecrated while an inmate at Camp Delta …

“This was one of the methods they used, throwing the Koran, my Koran, on the floor in my cell”.

Well, even if a few pages of some book get flushed down the Ben Ghazi … so what? It’s a book, nothing more nothing less. You might like the ideas in it or you might not; that does alter the fact that it is a book. Just because you take it upon yourself to decide that it is meaning of everything, doesn’t mean that I do. Numpties!

Its about time the Muslim world took time out to have a proper bath,had a shave, bought some decent clothes & GREW UP. Stop behaving like petulant children. Rather than whining about how bl**dy scread the shrine to Mohammad’s left sandal is, their time might be a little better spent inventing something a little more original that the suicide bomb belt, to export – after all, they are are simply soooooooo last season darhhling!

Now, if Mr Mubanga thinks that,

“We are the cleansers & we have come to cleanse you from the face of this earth. No matter how much you rape & pillage us & invade our land we are here. We will always be here. Your so-called democracy will fall under the sword of Allah. The day of judgement is coming & we will give you your rights by the sword of Allah”

Well that is his right to free speech, now here is mine...

This is our country & if we want to do a Fred Astaire on a copy of Koran, then we bl**dy well will. Mr Mu-banger, if you don’t like it, don’t live here. Go back to which ever fly blown part of the Middle East or Africa you come from. Lets be honest here, I don’t suppose that was a single Mubanga on the causality lists at Agincourt, Crecy, Blenheim, Waterloo etc etc etc …?

It is at this point I realise that I am begining to think like Hitler – but one thing is certain, these people are not British - they are here because, well probably because they like sponging off the State i.e. us taxpayers. But if you do live here, its about time they started behaving in a reasonable manner. Its a two way street. If you want your beliefs & traditions to be respected, you have to respect the beliefs & traditions of others - & that includes poor journalism.

Footnote: I have just declared that my well thumbed copy of Rustler magazine (June 1979) is now scared text – if anyone dares to go against the blessed words of Linda Large-Jugs ... “give it to me big boy… you know I like it firm & fruity”, holy war will be declared upon them.
