Pheasants - Live & Dead
Its a wet grey afternoon here & that dosn't bode well for tomorrows shooting - maybe those crafty pheasants will sit tight so we can't get after them
Sunday is cooking day - time to start emptying the game out of the freezer, stoke up the oven & get cooking

Rough shooting or driven birds?

Tom
Its a little driven shoot - bags average 25 - 40 brace. It all sounds a lot grander than it is - but what the hell, we have a lot of fun & get some lead in the air!
I'll let you know how we get on.

How was the shooting?
I'm hoping to get out next Saturday. Back to the desert to look for quail and chuckar partridge. I use a double from Suhl made in the old (communist) days in East Germany. Not fancy, but a nice reliable double gun.

Are you guys allowed to shoot dove? Here in VA they provide some mighty good shooting and eating too.
