150,000 Protestors

The Police say that 30,000 people protested today - OK
The crusties say it was 150,000.......giggle......

I took this pic of the US Embassy at lunchtime today. Like me, I'm sure you can clearly see 150,000 people. Enough said?

Perhaps each of the people represent 50,000 by proxy vote?

ha! look at the live webcam at trafalgar sq - http://www.camvista.com/england/london/trafsq.php3

there's probably only a dozen people there

And yet, the lie that these protests were massive will continue to propagate, and will become the received truth wherever the establishment media reaches.

The good folks over at CNN are, of course, trumpeting that "tens of thousands" protested. (I tried to post a link but the html code was not accepted, sorry.)

Oh, come now - I remember watching that British government instructional video of the 1970's, How to Not Be Seen. These guys are just all graduates of the course.

London police now say it did reach 100,000.

Of course, the organizers now say they "really" had 150,000.

We happened to be in the Optical Center of a Walmart's in central Florida this morning when a couple of Brits were mouthing off about wishing they were home marching because they hate Blair and hate Bush even more. They were about our age, old enough to remember WWII.

My husband couldn't take it anymore and said that if it weren't for us American cowboys, they'd be speaking German. They went nuts! Oh sure we needed you!

In my most lady like voice, I said, yes you did, twice.

Don't the people in England know why they aren't speaking German?

100,000 my ass, Andy!

At most, 30,000 unwashed eco-terrorists, jihadists, socialists and queers proudly marching for Saddam...

More people usually show up for a minor league soccer match.

I wonder, one message board I saw had two different parts of the protests, with the exact same people in the photos...some people might have been counted more than once...

Whatever the number was, it was certainly not what the organizers hoped for...

Indy Media says the Jacko business is a Bush conspiracy to silence dissent. Damn, Bush is smart for someone supposed to be stupid. :)

This looks a lot like the massive protests in Korea that greeted Donald Rumsfeld (The Korea Herald reported 30; American TV networks reported numbers in the thousands).

Hey, this is a great blog. I'm gonna add this to my daily reading list. Awesome stuff. I might have to give you a ring if I end up in grad school in the UK after leaving the Army (as I hope to do). Keep it up.

Yes, I am going to have to add another blog to the daily reading list.
Keep it up, enjoy it here from the storm capital of the states. Oklahoma that is.

Mr Free Market, You have my eyes and ears as well. Not literally, of course.

I was beginning to think everyone in Europe was a mindless drone of the Liberal Eco-Fascists Party. Thank you for reminding me that most Brits are not the blithering idiots that get the media attention.

There was nothing in the American media about Powell's response to the Archbishop's insane question. It could not have been said any better.

From my perspective, I wonder whether the American liberals hate America as much or more than the Euro-liberals. Self-loathing is a liberal requirement.

This has become my current favorite blog

Bravo, Mr. Free Market! You are on my blogroll now, and you're a daily read for me.
